Starting the 365 picture blog thing. Obviously it’s a new year, so here’s the food. I’m starting to mess with a couple of filters and lenses that a couple of the paid iPhone 4 apps offer, but it’s going to be nothing compared to what a real camera can do.
Food, to me, is more than just temporary nourishment. It’s a sign of fortune and abundance. I need to realize food is taken granted of daily. Some people just don’t have.
Also, I’d like to take the moment to make this clear:
New year’s resolutions are excuses, giving people time to wait until an arbitrary date to do something that should’ve been done when the idea and/or necessity first struck. Arguments claiming these holidays provide inspiration required to fulfill these commitments are as invalid as any other excuse to wait until a specific date. If you need something done, then do it. No need to wait for others to join you. Need examples? @breeahhknee and his commitment to his physical health. @allanbeezy included. They didn’t wait for a specific date. They just do. I understand I’m going to raise a lot of hostility levels for this, and frankly I don’t give a flying fuck. It’s difficult to care after dealing day after day of stupidity, both from internal and external sources, at work.
